  • D.G. Hollums

    Lead Pastor & Community Curator

D.G. (Duncan Grady-proudly named after both of his grandfathers) Hollums, has been an Elder in The United Methodist Church for 20 years. DG was born and raised in Floydada, TX and grew up from birth in the First UMC of Floydada. People who know D.G. will say is that he genuinely loves people. He is a geek, foodie, contemplative photographer, contemplative wood carver, daddy, husband, self-described "extroverted contemplative”, and considers every person he meets to be someone he can’t wait to get to know. He has been an associate pastor, lead pastor, church planter, director of online communications for the global United Methodist church at UMCOMM; as well as, worked for Tesla Inc. and Apple Inc. He has served UM churches in Kentucky, Texas, Tennessee, and New Mexico. D.G. is currently enrolled in the Living School with Fr. Richard Rohr and the Center for Action and Contemplation. He met Tiffany, his wife, in college and they’ve been married for 24 years. Tiffany is an ordained United Methodist deacon and is currently serving as the Associate Pastor at St. John's UMC in Albuquerque. Tiffany loves to crochet, laugh, read, and write. D.G. and Tiffany have journeyed through decades of infertility and were FINALLY able to adopt at birth their daughter, Grace Trinity Rachael (she has a name from Tiffany, DG, and her ‘tummy mommy’). Gracie is 11 years old, beautifully tall, and has a big heart. She loves K-Pop, has a very quick wit, and is an old soul.

If D.G. is not in the office you might find him at the parsonage playing pinball, doing contemplative wood working, watching a movie, praying in the back yard, wearing a Star Wars screen accurate costume bringing smiles all across New Mexico with the Rebel Legion and the 501st costuming communities, or driving all over New Mexico receiving contemplative photography moments.
